Finally got to try Chicha San Chens's osmanthus oolong mango tea! The first time I ordered it through foodpanda (because of shopback promo), a wrong order was delivered and I got ding dong milk tea instead, when I don't drink milk tea! :(
Fast forward many months later, got the chance to try it finally! Added konjac jelly to the drink. Very refreshing thirst quenching drink! Although the osmanthus taste was being overpowered by the strong mango pulp taste. Love the chewy konjac jelly.
Tried the new drink called Lemon Tart and it really tastes like lemon tart! It was quite refreshing but a bit too sweet for my liking and the sweetness cannot be adjusted for this drink.
Brewed to order traditional tea using a teapresso machine. We get to choose to customise your drink with a choice of tea base (green tea, osmanthus oolong tea, high mountain pouchong tea, black tea, dong ding oolong tea or cassia black tea) for $3.20 then add a mixer (honey, green lemon, passion fruit, mango, cream, fresh milk or mousse) fir $1.00 - $1.50 and toppings (bubble grass jelly, coconut jelly or konjac jelly) for $0.50 - $1.00
I gotten myself a cup of Dong Ding oolong tea with mousse. Tea lovers would love the tea from Chicha because of their rich, strong and aromatic tea flavour. I added mousse to get that milky and creamy texture to my tea and I simply love it 》$4.70
Loved the Osmanthus aftertaste in every sip! Definitely an elevated version of the Mango Fruit Tea you get from the neighbourhood BBT stalls.
I liked how this was very refreshing with the mango adding to the sweetness of the tea. It was a bit on the sweet side but still tasted good.
The most fragrant milk tea I've tried across all the brands, and now my favourite go-to. The depth of it's tealeaves tastes perfect with the chewy pearls at 50%. Ps don't add coconut jelly, it makes the tea tastes weird
