Chateraise Châteraisé (NEX)

I decided to try it out for Monaka Gateau Fraisa (Strawberry Shortcake) ($2.70) since I didn't get it on previously. It was quite sweet especially for strawberry sauce inside the waffles. But I really like the monaka series from chateraise and hope that see more different flavour from there.

Caramel Salt (4/5) (via nex) ($2.50)

Really got mild coffee and sweet caramel taste but suitable for tea break tbh. But then got that solid chocolate chip inside vanila portion. Ratio for Caramel vs Vanila is 3:1. 🥲

Lemon Tart (3.5/5) (via nex) ($2.50)

Didn’t felt that Lemon Tart taste to be authethic but then got that crunchy nut amsr inside Lemon portion. Ratio for Lemon vs Vanila is 2:1. 👌

Strawberry Jelly

(gift from my colleague) I tried it on room temp but I should be fridge it instead if you want to try as cold dessert. It taste like strawberries jam (not that sweet but a bit sour aftertaste)

In essence, the mochi balls which are lightly charred are to be dipped into this sweet-savoury brown sauce at the top; the sauce has a thick syrup consistency and will coat the mochi balls. You can't quite taste the char, but it was satisfying chewing on the mochi balls which were coated with the sauce.
This was somewhat novel and very different from the usual desserts that I am used to. Rating 6.6/10 - mostly for the novelty of it.

This 17cm cake ($45) consists vanilla sponge cake 🍰 sandwiched with fresh cream & strawberries sauce 🍓, & piped with strawberry fresh cream 🤍.

Decorated with three colors of fresh cream, strawberry 🍓 & blueberry 🫐, this cake was really airy & fluffy! A little too airy for our liking actually 😂
