In fact most of their items are lightly flavoured, even the minced meat which is usually extremely strong elsewhere is only moderate here, which is why they're so popular with the elderly and thus the queue

The Minced Meat were flavourful and Ckn Drumstick n thigh were supremely tender if a teeny bit dry

Overall v good

Bitter gourd was delicious, it's got such a clean saltiness and hardly any bitterness

Ckn cube, tomato(w a little bit of egg) were fine. The pork slices: I dislike the seasoning slightly

The ckn feet tho, it's got a very strong one dimensional spice, think it's star anise, and that's very unpleasant

Pork ribs were nice as usual

Pork trotters had a light but strongly herbal braise, it's ok but the hair turns me off

Stir fried ckn cubes were absolutely delicious, I was very surprised. Very umami and a great bouncy texture

Kangkong was soft and the curry was mild

Their omelette isn't v good actl, surprisingly

The French bean was cooked w curry spice and that's pretty interesting

Nam Ru pork ribs were tender but mild

Highly recommend the pork belly if you see it, it's pretty impressive. The cabbage was good too, given the dried shrimp inside and the perfect soft texture
