Food was OK only.
Garlic pork is over fried, too hard.
Baby KaiLan is OK.
Tom yum is not strong enough for the original taste.
Basil minced pork is OK but too oily.
Drink good, except for the coffee. It tasted weird.

Quite a decent Thai shophouse run by Thais located conveniently at Toa payoh central 💕 Good service and not-too-bad Thai dishes. Try their Phad Thai 👍🏻 their Phad See Ew fared a lower behind compared to the Phad Thai I tried previously. Green curry has strong coconut milk taste 👍🏻 however, their curry was not the thick creamy kind which I prefer. Nonetheless, a good eat which is different from the usual Chinese cuisine you find around Toa payoh!

Stove-less and sick of outside food, we ordered dinner from Chao Phraya Kitchen through Deliveroo. I enjoyed tracking where my driver was (stalker alert 😝) deliveroo even informed me when my driver was late. The green curry was good! Though the basil minced pork was too spicy for us, it felt pretty good to be able to eat at our own table again. Deliveroo is having a promotion for their Thai food next week, but sadly Chao Phraya is not participating. If not I'll definitely order again for a 2 pax $25 meal! Oh well #deliveroo #burpple #chaophrayathaikitchen #thaifood

Today's lunch situation; Basil Leaf Chicken and a cuppa Cha Yen to go along :) portion was a little small although the food was flavourful and chilli really packs heat!

Offering simple Thai dishes at reasonable prices, they do have some hits and misses. Tom yum soup was sour and not too spicy while their prawn cakes were not bad too. Unfortunately the drinks could be thicker and basil pork lacked the spiciness. On the good side, tried their grilled sotong and grilled pork collar and both were really nice.
Wouldn't compare them to Nakhon but they are still worth the calories if you are round the corner. #burpple
