We enjoyed the Choconut (RM15) - pure chocolate mixed with coconut water served in the coconut(!) 🌴 The sweetness of the juice blended very nicely with the bittersweet chocolate - yielding a really refreshing drink.

For purists, you really can't go wrong with their Milk Chocolate (RM13) which uses single origin beans. The chocolate drink is creamy, not too thick with the natural chocolate flavours at the fore.

But if you really like your kakao #extrakao (geddit?) - go for the Chocolate Shot (RM10.50) - 35g of warm single origin chocolate straight from the spout. We sampled it - lovely, thick, chocolate-y goodness!

Apart from its infamous fresh coconut chocolate drink, @senimankakao also serves breakfast and lunch from 8am onwards.

Price is at average of RM20++ per serving.

VCR is an oasis of calm in the heart of busy KL, with good coffee and decent food. Great texture on the thick and fluffy brioche french toast, and the flavour as well as textural combination of the espresso no churn ice cream, sour raspberry compote and coffee-esque mocha sauce worked well. However the chocolate soil and crumble was too fine and irritated the throat slightly.

Which was made from steeping coco bean’s husk. It has that washed down chocolate flavour despite the strong smell of chocolate, which compliments the sweetness of the chocolate mud cake so well. The beetroot milk chocolate ganache cake isn’t that bad either. Thick layer of milk chocolate cancels out the earthy flavour from beetroot which made it enjoyable for those who might not be fond of earthy flavour but still wants too keep a healthy lifestyle (but good luck with the milk chocolate ganache 😜)

It’s just too dark roasted and the milk used for the flat white doesn’t complement the coffee flavour notes. Had a go at their French Toast with Berry Compote and it comes with a scoop of mocha ice cream which makes the visit more worthwhile.

Nope 🙅🏻‍♂️ I especially enjoy eating (not scooping/shredding) the coconut flesh with the few cocoa nibs at the bottom.
