second time visiting, went to funan the previous time and i am rllllly disappointed this time. we got both the same thing but w diff sauces, i got black pepper and my mum got d thousand island. from the pic the sauce can be seen.... v small portion and i finished the sauce in one bite. one side of my bread was also slightly burnt but wasnt like black charred kind :') i dont think i wld return but my first impression was better... mightve just been me being rly hungry tho HAHAHA chicken was decent, not super juicy or crispy either. but wasnt hard soooo

cant justify it to b $5 :( even $3.75 is a lillll overpriced imo but then again, its cafe food. would suggest giving it a try tho!

Teh Halia is our go-to drink at Butter Bean because we love the gingery taste in our drink. It is certainly a comforting drink to have on a cool morning like it was today and the serving was pretty decent too! For Christmas, Butter Bean has prepared a festive version which adds a layer of marshmallows onto the drink. The marshmallows add a wonderful layer of insulation and it keeps your drink warm even after a really long time. Furthermore, it gives your drink even more sweetness, although it was a little challenging to drink the layer of marshmallows on top 😅

We bought the 2x sandwich + 2x drink set on Shopee for $13.60, which was really worth it because the restaurant allowed us to get any drink on the menu with no additional charges and an a-la-carte version of the above drink would already be $3.30 😱 Do buy the voucher on Shopee before dining here as it earns you savings!

Butter Bean is definitely one of the more unique breakfast options at Vivocity and we were excited to try it after trying the sandwiches at their Funan outlet! We couldn't resist ordering their crispy chicken sandwich again as savoury sandwiches are always a great option for breakfast! 😋😋

The chicken was indeed really crispy and it was much thicker and juicier than we expected! We added the BBQ sauce, which we think went pretty well with the chicken as it added a peppery spice to it. While we think the curry sauce went well too (we tried this at Funan), we cannot imagine having the chicken with thousand island sauce as the latter is usually associated with salad. The bread for the sandwich is soft and fluffy and we loved the texture too! Note that the sandwich also comes with lettuce and melted cheese.

Butter Bean was really crowded and we had to queue to get a seat, even though it was a weekday morning. The eatery has been doing really well! 👍
