Reviews

From the Burpple community

The beef bacon was pretty good, it's slightly crispy and quite meaty

The patties were nicely firm and despite the small size, had enough bite(partly from small bits of gristle which I appreciate)

It's a little bit heavy, and there's a lot of sauces, but it's less than you would expect from something with absolutely no veggies, esp if you let the oil drain

Overall pretty decent

When I went to Timbre+, Burgs caught my eye for its long queues and visually appealing burgers. Turns out that the store collected orders in batches, resulting in a long queuing time for customers.

Upon trying the Double pulled beef burger ($9.90), I was impressed by the tenderness of the burger, but felt that the ketchup sauce was far too rich. This result in the end result where the burger tasted far too sweet for a meat dish.
A side note i had was that I bit into a bone midway through the burger, furthering my negativity bias towards this review.

Carbs wise, the fries were thick and crispy while the bun was soft and fluffy, with the logo of the brand toasted on the surface. Nothing special of note.

Grade: B+

The batter is delicious but unfortunately the onion rings were really hard -- not sure if it is a result of overfrying, but it had a very strange, almost biscuit-like texture.

The enormous mound of pulled beef brisket was truly sublime. However, it got a bit jelat toward the end. I think more relish, tomato or lettuce would have balanced the flavours out better! Fries were thick-cut and crisp as well, though it gets soggy quickly.

Very satisfying meal below $10. Portions are not huge but for the price, it's worth it. The bun was soft, meat patty was juicy and I loved the crunchy bacon bits. Only wished that there wasn't so much watery sauce which kept dripping out, making it rather messy to eat. But i would definitely return again. P.S. their truffle fries are pretty good! Normal fries are average

Cheers to The classics as it delivers what we ask for: Beef patty, caramelised onion, American cheese & pickled green chilli. 🍻
All burgers come with fries but for something fanciful like cheese fries $3.50, seaweed fries $3.00, okonomi fries $3.50 you can of course top up! πŸ€‘
Let’s the countdown begin when they open their outlet at Timbre+. We might have to queue but will definitely worth it! ✌️
