Quite disappointed with the chirashi as I think it is over rated. It was normal chirashi and I prefer the sauce to put it separately. Their service need to be improve. I would prefer normal bowl than disposable bowl. I feel this is more of a "express" jap food.
Tried signatures like Boru Chirashi ($13.90) and Truffle Somen ($13.90). Definitely wallet friendly but taste wise, I was disappointed cos I came with high expectations. Had read so many positive reviews but upon trying, I thought the chirashi was quite ordinary. Nice variety of ingredients including salmon/tuna/octopus/shrimp/roe but sauce was average. Truffle somen also wasn't to my/friends' liking. Not everything goes with truffle, I guess! 😂 #burpple
Want the satisfaction of a good chirashi bowl without suffering from carbo-overload? The ones from Boru Boru easily hit the spot. While smaller in size as compared to those offered around Singapore (not to mention its $13.90 price tag!), the flavours of each bowl is anything but! Boru Boru also offers a variety of toppings, so you're sure to find something you like. What do you do when you have a bowl of Japanese rice blanketed over with fresh chunks of fish, a gleamingly golden onsen egg, and ikura roes bursting with flavour? You dig in, of course. #BurppleSushiMonth #burpple
Don't miss their seasonal special, Shiro Maguro Boru ($14.90). Slices of aburi shiro maguro with runny onsen egg, tobiko and seasonal vegetables, be sure to grab this limited bowl.

Complete the meal with a cup of latte for $3!
All were great except that the rice might need a little improvement. Its kinda too mushy.
Portion was just right for a female eater but maybe not for a male eater. Having one bowl each didnt satisfy my boy friend tummy, so we order additional don - the seasonal Shiro Maguro (white tuna) don with onsen($14.90). We were glad that we ordered that, cuz its freaking good. Its like in between of foie gras and pork belly. Definitely our favourite of the 3! 👍🏻3.5/5
✔️ its pretty value for money, but my fav kaisen don is still teppei. Dont mind trying out other in the menu
