[CLOSED] Blackball (The Clementi Mall)

Slightly on the pricier side for a grass jelly dessert. What I like about blackball is not their grass jelly or shaved ice. It’s their different variety of starchy balls.
The sweet potato was a little bland and couldn’t taste much of the sweet potato but their mini matcha balls surprised me. The matcha taste was strong enough and the texture was really good. Taro q on the other hand was slightly less chewy compared to the other 2. Still good nonetheless.

Think I should stick to their creations cuz when I choose myself not so nice 😂 This is grass jelly + pearls + taro balls + red bean + sesame balls. Their wintermelon ice is nice and refreshing as a base!

Waiting time was really long as the staff had to prepare the orders for deliveries. Perhaps it was a bad time to go after dinner! Enjoyed the dessert as a whole although the taste of each item is very subtle so after awhile everything had the same starchy feels. I like the big purple balls - sweet potato skin with yam filling!

One of the best ways to end a long day. My #blackball mix and match: grass jelly, honey jam, sweet potato balls, golden sweet potato and black sugar konjac jelly.
