Understand why this is their signature. Batter is great and really nice fried chicken. One of the better western style fried chicken I had. 👍🏻

love that the fries are seasoned and the fried chicken patty is thick.
I really like the salmon bowl and it’s components. The salmon is pretty good (esp for a chicken place). I chose the garlic rice and I like it! & a twist to a typical salmon bowl. Would order it again.

First time here. Service is friendly and the food is pretty good for the price.
Black pepper sauce is nice. Chose sushi rice and curly fries for the side.

The second dish we ordered was the 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻 & 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 ($14). Besides two pieces of the aforementioned chicken, this consisted of three pancakes as well, served with butter and maple syrup on the side. The buttermilk pancakes were fragrant, fluffy and not too dense. While adding butter and maple syrup is optional, the combination of flavours did amp up the taste considerably. The textural contrast between the chicken and pancakes was also delightful. This was another magnificent masterpiece.

Awesome meal and I'd definitely return to @birdfolks.sg for more fried chicken!

Fans of fried chicken (that's everyone, I'm guessing) should check out Birdfolks at NeWest. While there's no shortage of fried chicken joints in Singapore -- there's at least one in every shopping mall, sometimes even three in bigger malls -- Birdfolks differentiates itself by using Asian herbs to marinate the chicken, and frying each piece only upon order. 

With Burpple Beyond, I could get 1-for-1 Signature Fried Chicken. The 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘀 ($13) came with three pieces of boneless thighs, oregano fries and a salad. At some fried chicken joints, you can sometimes be served chicken whose skin is soggy or oil-laden, or both. You'll get none of that here. The skin is perfectly crispy and possessed a salty-peppery-herby flavour that was an absolute treat. Ripping off the tender and juicy flesh, the chicken's natural juices flowed out, luxuriously lubricating my lips. It was stupendously scrumptious.
