Beaulieu House is located within Sembawang Park. A pre-war colonial house converted into a restaurant, it is a house steeped in history. But of course I was there for the food. Their specialty includes La-la Clams with Ginger and Chinese Wine, Mongolian Chicken Drumlets, Chilli Crab....

Food tastes good as per their reputation. The drumlets were coated with a sweet and sour sauce that had a hint of spices. The crab was moderately expensive but packed with solid meat. La-la Clams were only so so because some of us found the soup a tad too salty.

But the location is unique and the architecture of the house and its various antiquated collector items are so interesting, I am sure I’ll be back with another group of friends. Sooner rather than later.

Still love the double boiled soup, and was surprised to find out that they use white tofu for their hot plate tofu rather than the more common egg tofu. Though it didn’t have that sour edge I love and had a sweet sauce hur hur.

Fortunately skipped the Valentine’s Day crowd/menu ($168++ for three courses?!) to have a quiet dinner the day before. Opted for the double boiled soup ($6 for a serving) and the tom yum seafood rice ($10 for a serving). The double boiled soup was comforting old cucumber pork rib soup, which was tasty and soft to bite. The rice was average, with three pieces of prawn. I think the curry fish head ($30) would be a better option if you have interested dining companions! It smelled delicious, and I spotted multiple tables sharing it. Service staff were also really good!

Good food with great ambience! I love this place not only for the food, but also the scenery outside and inside.💯
It's located beside Sembawang beach🏖 and it's unique because it plays great 80s90s songs inside!! There's very little people but it can be crowded and fully booked during Xmas, New Year and Valentines. For couples who love to have quiet time by themselves can try out this place!💏
The curry is cooked and prepared by the boss and it have different spices in it. It cost $30 only! Not only do they serve Chinese cuisine, it serves western too!🍴 And of course, alcoholic drinks!🍺🍸
On Valentines, they have special menu and it's for booking only!💕💍 (roses are available too 😏)
