Overall: the dishes take damn long to come, despite the restaurant being less than half full. Esp something like the yam brulee which is literally chilled below, they just need to brulee the top, and yet we waited 15mins for that? Also, we went exactly as they opened on Sunday and they told us they were out of beef short ribs (and pandan Panna cotta wasn't avail on the menu either). Ridiculous

Yam paste, pumpkin paste, both chilled, covered by a competent bruleed top. No surprises, not too bad

Choice of sides: we chose bacon and chive mash here, the bacon and chive was really mild so the mash was pretty AVG

The cod though, it's really steamed absolutely gorgeously. I didn't even realise how most cod I've had were overcooked until now, this was so incredibly tender, it melted in my mouth more than all other cod I've had before

Plus the soy sauce was strong and deep, it's insane

The best dish we've had here, by a mile

Served with one choice of sides, we got mushroom fricasse here which was pretty good, the mushroom was rather intense in flavour

Baby back ribs were fall off the bone tender, slathered in a sweet and slightly sour BBQ sauce.

Quite a decent rendition

The Asian sauerkraut is AVG, pork knuckle was pretty decent. The skin had a hard crunch, but both the skin and the meat were tender enough. The mild version of a Thai nam jim Jaew sauce did it's trick too

The egg meets and hot claypot and just completely cooks, idk if that's what they want but it's not what I expected. Not bad, the meat was tender and the taste was pretty unique but still somewhat respectful of traditional flavours.

Portion was good too, though there's quite abit more rice than meat, but that isn't a problem if you're ordering other mains

What I tried,

Baby Back Ribs
Fork-tender & literally fall off the bones. Pack with flavour & a smoky notes & doused with Home-Made BBQ Sauce. Absolutely divine that make me lick them off my fingers.
