Overall a nice quaint cafe but the menu was alright and on the pricey side, although the portions were large and will make you full the whole day! Coffee was really good too.

French toast ($22) was quite nice and fluffy and quite sweet overall, would’ve preferred for the ice cream to be served in a separate bowl so that it didn’t melt all over the plate. The flavours were good but couldn’t taste much guava, it seemed more like stewed fruits with cinnamon.

My friend tried the salmon with Rosti ($24) and it was a large portion!

This dish needs to be talked about more! The corned beef was perfectly pink inside and crispy on the outside. It was really unexpected but the maple syrup married the meaty flavours with the rich buttery toast so well.

Had high hopes for this but the rosti was really stale and the fish wasn't fresh! The only passable part of the dish turned out to be the rocket and Greek yoghurt.

In the sense that you don’t know whether it’s good or bad or if you like it or not. The ambience of the place is good but def not one of those cafes that you sit in to read for hours but you spend 2 hours there catching up with a friend over brunch. Generous portions at this place and I like that they don’t skimp on quality of the ingredients! I also like that the food was cooked well and properly but my only gripe with the food was that I don’t understand why they put certain sauces or flavours with certain foods… it’s unnecessary. But great drinks as well! 6.99/10!

Salmon Rosti ($22)
The Norwegian salmon was soft, moist, and pink throughout. Enjoyed the texture but found it to have a mild fishy aroma. It came atop a rosti that was ultra crisp but consequently a tad dry, and a generous serving of fresh watercress and rocket salad. Enjoyed the pairing with nutty crunchy pistachio, juicy pops of pomegranate, and refreshing citrus mint mayo.
