I can’t count the number of times I’ve walked past this place, all the while admiring the whole American diner aesthetic(especially the tropical LA-style wallpaper and hot pink neon lights touting offerings of burgers, shakes, dessert, etc.), and promising myself that I’d pop by one day. With news of its closing on 1st May, I simply HAD to sample their craft burgers and conveniently fulfil my American cuisine cravings!!

Looking at the picture again, I can’t believe how I managed to fit that beast into my mouth!! 😂 The different complementary layers arrived toasty hot - the main patty (made in-house) had its smoky meaty taste elevated by melted cheesy goodness both on top and below it! I’d say just the patty is enough to satisfy, yet the fried portobello mushrooms really made all the difference. Filled with umami juices that oozed out from between cracks of the crisp battered skin with the slightest applied pressure, one can only imagine the dribbling mess which accompanied each gigantic chomp!! And when eaten as a whole, I’d say the tastegasm made the entire messy affair totally worth it!!! We also enjoyed the coleslaw which really was more like a Japanese style salad with the roasted sesame dressing; crunchy, refreshing and still savoury, it managed to bring another dimension of “umami” to the entire meal! Truffle fries were a nice surprise too - instead of the usual fries drizzled in truffle oil, each basket came loaded with truffle aioli that was fragrant with the mouthwatering aroma of truffle mushrooms!

My verdict? I’d honestly say B Burger serves one of the best and most affordable gourmet burgers in town. Seriously, where else can you get piping hot, totally umami burgers bursting with flavor for $10 in orchard?!? This classy little joint will always hold a special place in my heart. And I’m definitely looking out for the opening of their next outlet!

Apart from burgers which @bburger.sg is well known for, there are also other mains on the menu for those who don’t really fancy burgers ie. fish & chips and this breaded corndog as featured here! 🌭
With a complimentary regular side of your choice, you can also opt for the premium sides at an extra $2, which was what I did, and with no regrets. The curly fries that I had upgraded to was done to an ideal crisp perfection in its golden brown batter, an additive sidekick that I couldn’t stop laying my hands on! ✨ Much much better than their normal fries IMO, with a crispier and thicker batter. Moving on to the highlight of this meal, the Osaka corn dog is essentially a breaded hotdog, comprising of cheese hotdog within the batter, topped with tobiko, teriyaki sauce, mayonnaise, garnished with nori and spring onions. The portion might seem small but it was actually rather filling, with a thick exterior of crisp golden brown bread-like batter and a soft and pillowy in its interior wrapping around a long and slender cheese hotdog that could perhaps been better if it was more cheesy? 😅 .
[ PS: Unfortunately the shop’s ceasing operations after 1st May hence it would be ur last chance to check this awesome burger joint out in town before they relocate 👋🏻😢] .

This burger was really tasty with fried chicken, fried egg, cheddar, sriracha, honey, Japanese slaw and daikon. Sold at $12.90 with a free side, this is really affordable and has quality too!

Tried B Burger for the first time and I have to say it tastes really good for the price. The meat was juicy and tender and there was cruncy bits of chared part from the grill. The mustard in the burger made all the difference. Overall a very satisfying burger.

Not the best pic but a reaL one. B supreme (truffley with shrooms $9.90) & er the other regular one ($6.90). Also, are these Benjamin Barker burgers?
