This felt almost similar to the Phad Thai I had back in Krabi last month, minus the bean sprouts. I ordered specifically without it but oh well. Despite it being 9pm, the prawns were still juicy (I had 4). Mixed it together with the nuts and chilli flakes and there you have it. Cannot beat the one in Krabi but this was close. This was the closest.
The comfortable booth seatings and the deafening chatters of office gossip here give way to the star of lunch hour - Pad Thai (RM16.90). Enveloped in an omelette, you'll find your stir-fried flat noodles with the occasional crunch courtesy of crushed peanuts and fresh beansprouts. But what really keeps your chopsticks going at it is that appetising heat of chili flakes and the zest of lime squeezed all over. The noodle bar also has a great Pandan Chicken (RM12.80 for 3) served exactly how it should be - with the leaves on. I usually enjoy my Thai food with Pandan Juice, but the RM8 one here is just Thai-ranny.
Mien Kam, or "control & restrain" as I would call this traditional Thai appetiser. Add extra portions and ratio of any one ingredient and watch the eater's face turn sour or screaming with profanity. Consume with caution. | #food #foodpic #foodporn #thaicuisine #streetfood #vscocam #vscofood
