Their mochi was fantastic - soft and chewy yet not overly sticky. The powder that covered the mochi was thick, but did not taste like a mouthful when you devour it.
Sakura icecream was rather disappointing. There wasn't a slightest hint of Sakura, even if there was, the milk taste overwhelmed it.

Couldn't find chirashi don on the menu, so I made my own! They're offering a 20% off all sashimi now, so it was a great deal to get 10 pieces of really nice and fresh seafood for the price. Overall a good, quick lunch!
Choose between udon and soba for this stir-fried noodles with prawns, cubes of chicken meat and vegetables. The tastiness and saltiness was just right for us because the authentic ones tend to be wetter and overwhelmed with saltiness of the yakisoba sauce. Now I'm curious and wanting to try Yaki Udon. Oh by the way, Azuma offers Mentai Yaki Soba/Udon. Interesting! 😘
Aburi salmon rolls are more common than tataki salmon rolls so I had to try this for novelty's sake. Taste wise, it was quite similar but I prefer aburi-ed ones for its slightly charred aroma and taste. Azuma's rendition was decent and light in flavour which might disappoint those into strong and heavy flavours like me. 😜
Glad that Azuma's wagyu promotional menu is still available! This rather petite bowl of wagyu fried rice was originally priced at $18 but now it just costs $10. We love the fragrant wok-hei coming from the fried rice. Topped with crispy garlic and four slices of warm pinkish wagyu beef, I want seconds! 😋
