Tried this once and I donā€™t think I would go back again. I just feel like there are other ramen places that are affordable and have better quality ramen? Anyways I got the Original Tonkotsu Ajisen Ramen ($10) and their Original Gyoza ($3.90). Ramen was average, mediocre. Gyoza was quite dry as well. Only saving grace is probably their cheap prices šŸ„“

Garlic lover will enjoy this one a lot. Although we canā€™t notice the fried garlic on top, we notice the oil from fried garlic. Thick noodle make this a bold bowl! Houji tea hot $1.90 + 10% service charge and 7% GST (around $15 Per Pax)

Boiled pork belly and kimchi are the highlights of this ramen. We go for ala carte (no side dish) but feel full afterwards (nice portion). It comes with half boiled egg.

Had the Volcano Ramen Set ($16.90) which consist of a drink, side dish & ramen itself.

The last time I had Ajisen was when I was in secondary school. Eating at Ajisen brings back the nostalgia feel. The set was quite worth it for people who like to have side dish & drink other than their main dish.

My only issue is that they have gone stingy with the side dish as it was smaller than what I have in the past. Can't really blame them due to inflation.

Overall, it is not bad for a meal.

Star rating : āā visited @ajisenramensg @junction8 @capitaland With over 700 outlets around the world this Japanese import has quite a selection of Ramens and some rice dishes. Service was quite quick and fast. Preety empty for a weekend dinner. I ordered a fried Seafood Toji set which came with some dumplings and miso soup. All orders are place on iPads that are on the side (the solution for most chain F&B in Singapore due the manpower shortage in the Industry. Sad cause a big chunk of the experience is gone). Food came out quite quick šŸ¤”

Miso soup was nice

Dumplings (fried) not bad. Tasted like the frozen ones I buy, so I'm assuming these are not made at the site.

Toji was hmmm, not great. Besides the egg the rest of the ingredients where all over cooked, very chewy and obviously frozen or double cooked. It was ment to be a seafood Toji but it had chicken as well. I was not able to finish it all as it's was quite sickly.

We pick 2 Sets (main + side)
1. Chicken karage Tom Yum + Chijimi $11.90
The broth of chicken karage Tom Yum is really tasty (sour, spicy). We notice there are 4 pcs of chicken karage with tomato & Calamansi. It is an addictive & very satisfying ramen set we have here.
2. Corn shachu + shishamo $10.90 not too bad compared to a ramen chain we try in Novena

Note: 7% GST & 10% service charge applied
Total bill ~ $27 for 2 pax
