Highlight is this almost surf-n-turf cutlet where succulent large prawn meets a case of tender pork cutlet, then majestically coated in fine, gold crisps. Served with miso soup, Nanatsuboshi rice and refillable shredded cabbage (food coma warning). #MediaTasting

I am very impressed by this space (Eat at Seven). I tried their ramen and tempura stalls. Both of them were were outstanding. Recently they opened my favorite Japanese food stall. FRIED PORK CHOP! .
|
A very small sitting capacity and overshadowed by the "newly" opened tempura rice bowl. (Ironic in life - While the world is crazily Q-ing for a bowl of tempura, they missed out such tasty Tonkatsu.)

Some might felt that $24.90 for a pork chop set might be a little over price but the set came with an array of sides. Pickled veg and insanely delicious miso soup! Free flow of crispy sliced cabbage which went so with the pork chop. Please don't forget about their sauce! I liked to eat with their Spicy Tonkatsu sauce, yuzu sauce and yellow mustard. They helped to cut down the oiliness and allowed me not to feel bloated after eating. ππ»ππ»ππ»

I would definitely revisit to try their prawn and pork loin!
Opened by the management that brought @kohakutempura , this place is a good alternative for those who supply can't wait in the snaking queues for Kohaku. Pork from the Nagano prefecture and rice from Hokkaido.
Brought to you by the same people as the famous Tendon Kohaku, Agedoki doesn't stray much from usual tonkatsu offerings.
Free flow thinly sliced cabbage (love thisπ) and rice make sure that you'll definitely walk out full. My pork fillet was thick and tender with a crisp finish that went really well with the mustard provided. However we found that the pork loin my friend ordered was juicer and has a nicer bite to it (cheaper tooπ).
Recently opened, they're still going through some teething issues I guess as they were visibly understaffed and a little messy. But I'm sure they'll get it sorted out soon enough!
Located within Eat@Seven in Suntec City and next to Tempura Kohaku, this cosy space dishes out hearty pork cutlet sets that will leave you feeling utterly satisfied with its refillable rice and cabbage. Go for the Thick Slice Pork Loin Cutlet Set Meal ($21.50) instead of the fillet, the former is juicer and easier to chow down! Fancy a little more variety in your meal? Get the Fried Shrimp and Thick Slice Pork Loin Cutlet Set Meal ($23) β it comes with two freshly breaded shrimps deep fried in Agedoki's original blend of soy and rapeseed oil. Wash it all down with a cup of refillable Green Tea ($2)! Pro tip: Like its sister outlet Tempura Kohaku, Tonkatsu Agedoki commands a long wait, so get there early if you don't want to wait an hour for lunch.
Avg price: $25 per person

Fried Shrimp Thick Slice Pork Loin Cutlet Set ($23)
Newly opened, Agedoki Atsugiri Tonkatsu serves a limited selection of tonkatsu sets probably to speed up the service. No complaints here! Basically, decide whether you prefer π fillet or loin and whether you want shrimpπ€! I personally prefer the juicier loin to the meatier fillet! Free flow rice π and cabbage as with most tonkatsu places. The miso soup was also full of flavour since they added pork slices into the soup. Loved the accompanying 2 types of pickles too but no refills for these π. Best to have the meal with a glass of their refillable iced green tea!
