There is really nothing better than fantastically innovative brunch to make my day 😍 I mean really, who can resist this fabulous Pulled Pork Benedict smothered in creamy, luscious, buttery hollandaise?
Perhaps because our understanding of “chilli” usually runs along the lines of sambal belacan and the likes, the local takes rarely extend beyond somewhat of a fusion sambal-on-eggs kinda thing. Addict’s comes with a extreeemely punchy chilli oil, with specks of chilli permeating through, lending a fantastically clean yet refined hit of spice to the dish. Put that on creamy, rich scrambled eggs, a buttery croissant, then top that off with salty bacon and some smooth avocado — so so good.
Just look at this beautiful breakfast hash: a fluffy, golden hashbrown sitting above a bed of truffle mushroom duxelle, topped with a roasted portobello mushroom, caramelised onions, and of course a luscious poached egg.
The #soninlaweggs had very crispy bacon, fried shallots and curry leaves on roti, with a yummy chilli hollandaise. Loved how all the ingredients came together with just the right level of spicy kick; only wish was to have more roti over the current thin small piece for better balance. The #chickenkaraageburger was a tasty and nicely fried chicken with chilli mayo, corn slaw & vegetables, with a side of fries that were nicely crisp on the outside while retaining a soft potato interior. The corn and salmon fritters was nicely executed with a tasty mix of herbs and pesto
