Premium Tonkotsu Ramen ($14.90) (Discount - 20% - $2.98 for weekdays from mon to thurs) + Ramen Egg ($2) (1 - 3)

so i did ordered their ramen instead of don and really like their smoked pork jowl so chewy and got that smoked aftertaste. the discount applied to ramen and mazesoba only.

This is our favorite place! We always order Iberico Hoho Don (It's charcoal grill pork jowl on rice, Premium Buta Bara Don (It's charcoal grill premium pork belly on rice) both come with some salad and miso soup) and another one is my all time favorite dish is Ika Surume (charcoal grill squid with teriyaki sauce)
MUST TRY!!

20% off for takeaway(August 2021)

Pork belly buta Don.

Nice and juicy. Add on onsen egg and mix with the meat, super shiok.

The sauce was just right I feel, not too sweet or salty.

The grilled pork is very soft and the marinated sauce goes well with the rice. Ordered another onsen egg to go with the don.

Buta don (~SGD12++): Simple pork bowl, which during lunch time came with miso soup as well. My friends quite liked it but I found the food pretty average? Perhaps the more expensive dons might taste better, but for this dish, I felt like my grandma can cook something similar 😛 It’s palatable and not bad at all though, so it’s a decent place for a quick lunch. :-)

OVERALL: 3.5/5

This is the eleventh commandment, saith The LORD: everything that has been fried in the fat of the earth and impaled upon a wooden stake shall be delicious.

Yep, that holds true till today, and these deep fried Hokkaido scallops ($4.80++) obediently follow this commandment to the letter. The considerable dollop of Japanese mayo & smattering of fish eggs on top only help to obey that commandment. Not bad at all from @aburien.sg.
