Long-time neighbourhood favourite Restoran Goon Wah pulls in the crowds for two signature dishes: XO Fish Head Noodles (from RM15) and Claypot Lou Shu Fun (from RM15). The sweet Gingko Soybean Barley Soup (from RM15) makes for a nice finish after the wholesome meal. Pro tip: Swing by before noon as the place fills up quickly for lunch.

This is the best of the best. Couldn't find another competitor. Stir your own and determine the dryness you like. The longer you leave it on the pot, the dryer it become and also more fragrant. Price: RM15/pax, Food: 10/10
The signature dish seems like a bit disappointing to me this time. The fish isn't fresh, it was like over fried until it is flaky and kind of harder. The soup is slightly lighter than before too, while the yam in the pot looks like just sprinkle before it was served. Possibly due to weekend crowd, they tend to cut short the preparation time by half. Price: RM15/pax, Food: 7/10
