Absolutely have to rave abt Marutama ramen again! Sorry no photo of dinner cos we were ravenous and attacked our bowls like half-starved apes. Love love love their ramen, my top fav ramen joint! Took the usual Aka Ramen ( 7 kinds of ground nuts mixture with chicken soup). Perfectly well cooked springy noodles, best soft boiled egg ( as always!) and to-die-for soup base! Another visit-worthy place for these who haven't been there (: Last stop @ FIVäș, most apt way to end the night!
TGIF lunch with colleagues @ Sinpopo yesterday. Love how they did up the place, all retro decor & furniture, even vintage serve-ware! Awesome beverage Sng Muay Pop! Think normal plum juice drink, but carbonated with 7-up/Sprite and melt in your mouth plum flavored ice balls with plum flakes in it and touch of lime! Had Kato (scissors in dialect) rice and it's really tasty too! Really quirky and visit-worthy place, will definitely go back! It's just right down I12 Katong, and opp Awefully Chocolate!
