Tastes like fried cornbread. I thought it was pretty good, but it might be an acquired taste for some.
It was about $20 and worth every cent.
These were really rich in flavour. The scallops were torched but not fully cooked so the texture was more like sashimi. The only drawback was there's too little of it for the price I'm paying.
The $50+ 1-for-1 3 course meal comes with a sukiyaki truffle don, mentaiko scallops, and a drink. It was pricey but very delicious. The combination of flavours and texture was amazing and everyone enjoyed it. (I suspect it was so expensive because it uses real truffles but I couldn't really taste it so..)
The truffle fries were an additional side that cost almost $15 w/ GST+service charge, but the fries were thinner than most fries and therefore very crispy and flavourful. Highly recommend as well.
The meekia is their signature item and I highly recommend it. Generous portion size. The cabbage looks deceptively simple but is oh so savoury.
Really good, it's like chilli crab but with prawn and definitely with a non-crab pricetag
I had multiple pastas there but the truffle kombu fries were the bomb. Best thing there, a must order.
The Naanwich wrap was actually good. I like the texture of the naan and the mayo sauce with the fillings. The fries were nice and crisp too.
The chicken tikka wrap was a little disappointing. Quite dry and dull.
