Good and Affordable Came here for dinner with my family.
We ordered Thai Milk Tea ($3), Iced Lemongrass Drink($2.50), Tom Yum Soup with Chicken($6), Salted Egg Chicken($6.80), Stir fried Pork with Basil Leaves($6.80), Pad Thai with Seafood($6), Papaya Salad($4.80), Steamed Seabass with Thai Lime Sauce($19.80) and Red Ruby($3).
Thai Milk Tea was good. Milky and not too sweet.
Iced Lemongrass Drink could use a stronger lemongrass flavour but sweetness was just nice.
Tom Yum Soup with Chicken was really good. Soup was flavourful, spicy and sour. The soup had sliced canned button mushroom, chicken strips, onions, lemongrass, chili padi, parsley and 1 cherry tomato.
Salted Egg Chicken was good. Chicken was crispy and well coated with the thick, sweet and creamy salted egg yolk sauce.
Stir fried Pork with Basil Leaves was disappointing. The taste of the basil was very minimal and it was not spicy. It tasted more like a regular minced meat dish.
Pad Thai with Seafood was good. It was flavourful and came with 2 prawn, 2 squid rings, beansprouts, peanuts, egg, onion and chives.
Papaya Salad was disappointing. It consisted of papaya, tomatoes, long beans, chili padi. It was not flavorful enough and lacked fish sauce.
Steamed Seabass with Thai Lime Sauce was good. Thai Lime Sauce was tasty, slightly spicy and had sourish notes of tamarind which paired well with the fish.
Red Ruby was ok. The red rubies were nice, sweet and chewy. However the chunky ice led to its downfall.
Overall some of the food were well executed while some weren't. Would I be back again? Yes but I'll definitely avoid all of the food which disappointed me.
