had their omakase, alacarte and their lunch sets for 2. wouldn't say anything was memorable for me but i thought their sashimi were worth recommending. loved how quiet the place made my mind feels and that prawn.... was yums!

total damage:$300+ for 2 pax.

i love chinese food as much as i love jap.

the peking duck above was mouth watering, loved the popiah skin! same goes for their empress meat platter, beef hor fun and that crispy white bait which are all worth the calories. (i do not like the salted egg prawn though)

chanced upon this matcha white chocolate cake recently and i can say it is truly one of the best?! love the richness of the chocolate and matcha taste together! have been coming here for desserts too much recently 🍰🍰🍰

i do not usually fancy oysters because of the taste but after sinking my teeth into these, i changed my mind! loving how the parmesan on top goes so well with the parsley and spinach. too good, really too good (3 for $26).

pair it with a glass of wine, perfect date night. 😍

one of the best squid ink tagliolini ($48 for half portion and $70+ for full, i got the full.) i've ever had. ingredients such as maine lobster, sweet shrimp, scallops, calamari were used and boy were they so fresh! (will review the rest of the dishes next time!)

what's better is that you get to oversee the whole skyline of Marina Bay as its located on the 57th floor of MBS! marina city view is always stunning sooo this place is definitely not to be missed! make reservations early though!

located at sentosa cove, this place surely renders a visit if you are driving! i love dinners at sentosa cause it's so convenient for me haha!

also look at the pretty lights and that vodka chocolate lava cake. it was so good!! i loved the mains too.. drop by and have a lovely night having htht with your companion and a couple of drinks maybe? 😊

last week's dinner w my favourite at one of the place we fell in love with truffle fries/always frequent •

sadly that day, everything changed our mind and this isn't "our place" anymore. the service was bad, tables weren't cleaned before seating customers, truffle mash that doesn't have any truffle taste and the truffle fries haven't been maintaining its consistency for quite some time now. even the beef side was too sweet for my liking 😯 •

not too acceptable but guess it's time for jap restaurants to be "our place" instead. worth a shot still if you haven't been there. (there's also changi boardwalk nearby) goodbye The Coastal Settlement, it was a good 4 years of patronising 😊

hokkaido snow roll ($17.80 for the whole roll) •

even though it was launched end last year, ive never bought cakes from BT. so this was such a delight after hearing how the bf raved about it!

the cheesecake was soft, freshly made from hokkaido milk and egg white and it was rolled with cream fillings! a smooth touch to the palate and surely one of the frequent swiss roll i would patronise 😊

coming back to fat cow regularly has always been a happy pill. the chefs sure knows how to make their way into consumers heart and stay there forever!!!

here's a bowl of donabemeshi wagyu beef don ($68). grilled over charcoal and finished in a claypot rice served with onsen egg and house seasoned shoyu - SAY YUMS! 😚. although the portion isn't that much, it is enough to make you full. of course, if you do not want to splurge this much just on a don.. go for their lunch sets! they are equally value for money and delish!

i guess this remains number 1 in my heart when it comes to jap sushis. these were so divine and throughout my whole experience, it was amazing! from the service to the hospitality to the food, everything was perfect. i had the "omakase special - yume" at $250/pax just in case you need to know.

never liked to combine my pictures but these deserves it!! BEST SUSHIS EVER!!! 🍣 there were a few more but im not able to combine them so 9 pics it shall be 💕
