The Chicken was crispy and cheesy (as it's name suggests). Despite using two types of Cheese, it did not taste overwhelming at all. Fries were great, fresh and crisp!

This was probably the first time we didn't enjoy our hotpot because we were still full from lunch. Anyhoo, we still ordered $100 worth of food to utilise our chope voucher.
Shrimp Paste ($18.90)
This was nice! I like the texture - very Q and flavourful.
Tiger Prawns ($14.90)
The only thing worthy for a shout out was them peeling the prawns for us π
Pork Cabbage Dumplings ($7.90), It's official. The B E S T dumplings served in a hotpot restaurant goes to Spice World!!! Not sure what magic they had in these but they were absolutely yummy! I had 5/8.. i was sure i was full from dumplings that night.
New Zealand Lamb Slices ($16.90)
Buddy loves this!! New Zealand Black Pork ($23.90)
I find that the meat was more tender in comparison to the "normal" pork.
Pork Belly ($18.90)
Sorry, but this was one of the worst Pork Belly we had! 96% fat and 4% meat.. I'm pretty sure Pork Belly don't taste like this.. unless I'm eating it wrongly π³. This had too much fat.
Yin Yang 2 Flavoured Broth ($22.99) We chose Tomato and Pig Tribe Chicken. Tomato soup was okay for me while buddy feels that this was better than HDL. Pig Tribe Chicken soup had pig stomach which was too hard to chew - I didn't particularly like this soup.
Overall, got to give it to them on their presentation as it was on point - so fancy and extra!

Salted Egg Clam ($9.90)
The scene-stealer!!! Didn't know Clams and Salted Egg work so well till we had this! This was creamy, fragrant with big chunks of Salted Egg Yolk!
Superior Chicken Stew w/ Fish Maw ($8.90)
This is a bowl of goodness! Soup was lighter in flavour in comparison to the BKT. Buddy was telling me to eat more fish maw and drink more soup as it helps in complexion. Would have liked this dish more if the soup was piping hot when served.
Classic Bak Kut Teh ($6.50)
Classic bowl of BKT! My kind of BKT is the peppery kind and that was KOON's version too. Pork ribs were fall-off-the-bone T E N D E R. Soup is refillable, for all ya soup lovers!
Modern Braised Meat Rice ($8.90)
A twist to the original Braised Meat Rice. Honestly, i prefer the original version because i don't like tomatoes π

Though this was one sinful dessert to devour... we ate without consideration because it was so-worth-the-calories! The cake was warm and gooey and together with the gelato, it was the perfect dish to end off our meal.

I AM!! We had a feast on a Tuesday night, courtesy of Fu Xiang π₯³
My favourite dish of the night was their Chicken Biscuit Curry ($6.80) - the Chicken was fried till perfection! Together with a bowl of rice, i was ready to wipe the whole plate clean π€
Buddy favourite's dish was the Sambal Crispy Pork ($6.90). There's this spicy kick to the Crispy Pork that was irresistible! I did feel that this was a little too spicy for my weak tummy though.
Their Emperor Cream Sauce Chicken ($6.90) was buttery with flavours that tastes like salted egg but nope, no salted egg at all!
Lastly, their famed Chicken Curry that is plastered everywhere on social media! Curry was thick and rich that goes perfectly with a bowl of rice!

Wouldn't say I'm a fan of this as i prefer mine S P I C Y. Ingredients were generous, you can find Luncheon Meat, Sausage, Ricecake, Golden Mushroom, Bean, Tofu, Kimchi and Ramen. They topped this off with a slice of Cheese but i didn't taste the flavours of the Cheese here. Would reccomend if you like your stew base sour.

Polo Bun from Tai Cheong Bakery to start the day. This is their plain Polo Bun which was kinda too plan. It was missing a butter slice like other bakeries, oops. The crusts was so FLAKY, I'll get crumbs on my mouth, plate and even floor after every bite π€
