First tried this in SG and it left an impression on me. Chances upon it in Aberdeen and gave it a try again to compare the difference. This was sooo much better with the rich beefy aroma in the sauce and the pasta was perfectly cooked, even though it was tagliatelle it did not clump together and the minced beef proportion was generous. One of the best pasta I've had.

The steak was cooked to precision, my medium rare was juicy and pink in the middle. The butter herb just made it a whole lot better, although pricey it is one of the better meals I had in Glasgow.

This was the BEST steak and fries I've ever had. First tried it in 2011 where it was a free flow steak and fries kinda system but was immensely disappointed when I found out in 2014 that it was limited to 2 servings per person. Still though that green sauce is so heavenly and brings the whole dish up many notches. MUST TRY for a steak lovers. Do note that the queue is insanely long and forms before it is even ope, so be sure to go at 6pm sharp. The profiteroles are also worth the try. Am going to give the franchise in Singapore a try soon.

First had this in 2011 during winter when touring the Versailles Palace. This "saved" my life as I was freezing and starving after walking non stop for the entire morning in the cold. It had a generous amount of ingredients accompanying the potato with around 9 options to choose from. Went back again during the late summer 2014 and it was still as good as before. The only downside was that it was a pricey potato but given that it was a touristy area, there wasn't much of a choice.

Another amazing snack sold along the street of Amsterdam is this raw herring with onions and pickles. One of my favourites, this was well prepared by the owner and we had it every single day when we were there. Despite the bones and all it was easy to eat and the pickled taste just took the fishy-ness away

This is the best pancakes I've ever had. It comes in bite-size with sugar and a generous serving of butter. Sold at one of the street stalls at the centre of Amsterdam. This is a must must try and in my opinion the best pancakes here! Watch out for the sugar overload though.

Pasta Trio: Bolognese, Aglio Olio, Pesto. First try at Pesto pasta and boy this totally raised the bar and I can never find any other pesto to challenge this. It is so fresh and tasty. This dish is best for those who wants a lil of everything in Italy

Satellite Sports Cafe at Leidseplein Amsterdam is famous for their free flow spare ribs at a price of 15 euros. There are different sauces to choose from and the ribs were really tasty. The portion dwindles as you ask for more but it's no harm really just raise your hand for more and let your appetite run wild.

Famous pancake cafe located up a steep and narrow stairs hence the name pancake upstairs. There are both savory and sweet pancakes to choose from and the first taste was heavenly. The fruits were really sweet and a delicious accompaniment to the fluffy pancakes. However it can be quite a mouthful and filling at the end. On a side note the owners are really warm and friendly which makes the whole experience pleasant and worth the find.

Best gelato in Italy is at this lil shop La Bottega del Gelato. It's pretty obvious as there are always long queues. There are many flavours to choose from and it's one of the cheapest in Italy. Must try and awesome to combat the heat.

A good piece of wagyu steak. Enough said, worth the price if you've got extra cash.

The much raved waffles was mediocre instead the yuzu cake impressed me. Good to go on a weekday to avoid the frenzy crowd.
