“indo sumatera”, a road side kiosk serves up indonesian style kueh including this putu bambu or otherwise our familiar tutu kueh but in a tube from the hollow bamboo. best eaten while hot, the steaming white rice cake was so delicate, it almost melted instantaneously in my mouth with just the right amount of sweetness form the palm sugar. to complete the whole treat, freshly grated coconut topping was refreshing and offered much needed bite.
