This matcha is really matcha! Bitter yet satisfying on a hot day, definitely for hardcore matcha lovers, and its cheap?!
So in love with the ambience!!! Rustic wall paperings, comfy couches, lots of natural sunlight, birds-eye view of bustling orchard road, ambience was simply close to perfect. (: Same to say for the food too! Underdog Sweet Morning ($18) still lived up to its name as being one of their sweet specialities; texture of French toast was good, and what really made this meal happen for me was the mango stuffing in the French toast - very very nice and original touch! Norwegian ($26) was a huge enjoyment as well, ingredients were fresh and flavourful. Service was efficient too with their electronic seating system - we were lucky enough to get the best seats in the house! Be prepared for a 5 minute wait though, but the food, the ambience, the experience will be completely worth it.
Beef chuck patty coated in crushed black pepper, topped with an onion ring and homemade blue cheese dressing on a sesame bun. Onion ring was soggy but I liked the thick pepper crust on the patty. Requested for a medium but it was well done. Will return. This place does not have service charge!
The buns were exceptional - lightly toasted, soft and fragrant. Although decent, the beef patty was thinner than I'd expected, so thankfully, there's the decadence of the creamy foie gras to pump up the volume.
Hope this trip is full of fun and nothing else!

I think I fell in love.... Not a froyo fan, I finished the entire cup in minutes. The toppings are awesome! I have always been a great fan of creamier and finally got to try their soft served version. My fav flavour - vanilla! U kno it's good when u can see generous amount of tiny vanilla beans swimming in it. Waffles is crispy on e outside n soft on e inside. This cafe is also much more spacious n comfy compared w e creamier branch. Just wish the ice cream would melt a little slower so I wount Hav to gobble the waffle. Haha. But I guess that's the thing about soft serve.

Black charcoal waffle + salted egg yolk ice cream = match made in heaven! Haha! The waffles remained really very crispy throughout the long "photo taking session", and the salted egg yolk ice cream is just so good and distinctive, infusing with curry leaves that add accents and not overpowering to the palate. I foresee myself coming back here very often since it is just 5 mins walk from my house. 😁😁😁
