coconut tart, durian & cheese tart, pandan tart & egg tart undisputedly the best egg tart in sg (in our opinion)!! the crust is super buttery & rich with a cookie like texture, and i loved the light touch of saltiness in the tarts when we tasted them piping hot. the original one is the best out of the four without a doubt. the egg custard is super soft and smooth, and i esp loved the strong eggy taste and the wobbly texture which matched real well with the crust. felt like the second best was a tie between the durian & pandan tart depending on when we had it. the durian tart had a super strong durian flavor and we could taste bits of the pulp with every mouthful. however it was somewhat regrettable that we couldn’t taste much of the cheese and the durian feeling was a tad too sweet. the pandan tart smelled super fragrant - legit the only thing we could smell out of the whole box - but the taste fell a little flat. there wasn’t a distinct pandan taste and the custard didn’t quite set when we had it fresh out of the oven making it super difficult to hold and eat. but!!! our perception of it changed when we had another one the next day. after leaving it out for a night, we could finally taste the strong pandan flavor and for some reason, the tart shell was still buttery and crumbly. as for the coconut tart, we didn’t like it at all? the coconut bits while fragrant was super dry and it just couldn’t live up to our expectations after we tried the other three first.

Satisfying Hot Pot, Not Cheap You may be fooled by their promotion at the storefront but the price actually not that cheap. Hot Pot for 2 persons with drinks may be resulted in total bill $50++. Given there’s extra charge for dipping sauce per person. With service and GST. However overall food was satisfying, although not fantastic. Good for family lunch or dinner. As they provide incentives of soft toys if you accumulate points.

Cheap Hotpot $39.90 with free flow drinks. Very filling, ordered their set meal for two. Don’t have to add any alacarte items. So shiok on a cold rainy evening

Taiwan Hot Pot Shi LI Fang offers 50% off their Ala-carte menu with a variety of vegetables, meat and seafood. On top of that, there are 20 types of dipping sauces that we can mix and match with our food. Not the best hot pot but it's value for money and good for group gatherings.

Decent Hotpot Went there for some dinner promo but the bill ended up reaching $80 for 2 pax!!! But the food was really great and we ate ALOT, they even give their customers a free and cute plushie soft toy. We ordered mala and collagen pork or chicken soup, both were really good and the dipping sauces we amazing.

Budget Hot Pot definitely one of the more affordable options in the world of hotpots! meats and soup (tomato) were okay, nothing ultimately fantastic but all in all value for money $$ liked how you could get an individual pot to yourself :)

The only con is the slow service.

Looks nice, but I bet it's nothing like it's inspiration (Dominique Ansel). Marshmallow was overly sweet with too little hei ice cream inside. Ok I admit I was a sucker for ordering it because it was to be torched in front of me. Sugar Lips 💋 Really good first experience there :) affordable prices and changes their cakes weekly so there is a variety to try !! each piece of cake comes along with ice cream too :) it can be waffles or anything else they have !! they should improve their menu though ! Good for desserts in afternoon or after dinner :) this set above cost about $16-17 :)) enjoy !!

Wanton Noodles The Wanton Noodles ($4) from 達利古早味云吞面 at Hoa Nam Building (27 Foch Road) is surprisingly good. The springy noodles are tossed in a delicious sauce and the fiery chilli sauce gives it a punch. The plump wantons are stuffed with well-seasoned pork filling, the char siew is not too dry and the fried wantons add a nice crunch. I wasn’t expecting much, but this turned out to be a pleasant surprise:)

Wanton Mee Nothing says simple indulgence like tucking into a $4 bowl of wanton noodle from Lavender Wanton Mee (newly opened at Lavender Food Hub). They make one of the best "al-dente" noodles I've had thus far, and the secret "stock" added to the noodles has just the right amount of 'umami'. The owner is mighty generous with the accompaniments as well, which is always a plus!

Kok Kee Wanton Noodle. The queue is always long, and its singlehandedly prepared by this old aunty. Amazing how she does everything by herself. So wait patiently in line and then you'll be rewarded with a bowl of pristine wanton noodles. Priced at $5.50, it's on the pricey side. Blue Burger ($45++) Tanuki Raw has recently launched their new Blue Burger, exclusively available at their National Design Centre outlet. This burger includes a 250g hand-chopped premium wagyu beef short rib tartare patty that’s lightly seared and seasoned with Tanuki Raw's sianature spice blend, sandwiched between soft and fluffy slow-roasted Yaki Imo Milk Bread, and topped with house pickles and Emmental cheese. If you like your beef on the rarer side, this is definitely the burger for you! It is also served together with a side of Mentai Cheese Waffle Fries that are crispy and savoury! The Blue Burger is available from now till 31 Dec 2022, via pre-order on their website with a 10 days notice.

Crispy Polo Egg Tart 脆皮菠蘿蛋撻 ($2.30) It's my favourite from three egg tart <3 and quite flaky and also crispy texture on the tart. I didn't expected that their egg crust to be thin and also egg tart filling itself to be too much also. :") but the egg tart taste was quite strong as I thought and did reheat it on the oven.

Salted Egg Lava Shrimp Toast Salted Egg Lava Shrimp Toast (3pcs) ($7.50++): The shrimp toast 🦐🍞 was a combination of sweet & savoury, with the oozing salted egg lava being the highlight - eat it hot! 🤤

Fluffy ($13++); La Rose ($15++) Fluffy's passionfruit lemon jelly and strawberry crémeux does little to cut through the richness of the vanilla white chocolate mousse. It becomes difficult to finish for one person after a third because of how rich the mousse is. However, each component was executed well - just lacking in the balance with the flavours that end up being masked by the richness of the white chocolate. La Rose is the best dessert for pictures, but I personally thought it looked better than it tasted since it just left the impression of a typical dark chocolate cake. With that said, I think Antoinette still held its dignity with the separate components that make up the cakes, as well as their delivery on presentation.
