On the hunt for lunch specials. Grilled Fish for $18. Comes with a choice of salad. Delicious!
The best part of the meal? The fries, then followed by the burger. Maybe coz I had such a good hamburg steak recently. I would make a trip back here for the fries and yes of course, the ambience.
What an interesting thing, grilled cake. Anyway it's just like any other sponge cake that came with a delicious scoop of caramel ice cream. Great accompaniment with their bitter coffee.
Was introduced to this dish as their speciality. Bouncy chewy noodles to be dipped in soup. Kinda like a deconstructed ramen. Still prefer the soup base version for cold day. Enjoyed the alfresco seating area.
I was searching for a lunch place that can accommodate 11 people with diverse taste for this Friday, so some of us went to Ninja Bowl and did a first tasting today.
They do have a interesting menu - bowls of mains with sides, and you get to choose to have them with quinoa, ninja rice, or salad.
My colleague opted for this 24 hour slow cooked beef cheek with onsen egg and ninja rice, which is a mix of white and brown rice. I didn't share her food so I have to rely on her testimony - she said the beef were fork tender, but felt there were too little ninja rice, even for the appetite of a lady. She also felt that the healthier sides pictured could be warmer given that hers is a rice bowl instead of a salad or quinoa bowl.
This bowl including ninja rice costs $16 nett. Pretty good price I thought.
They also have a brunch menu, which I thought were interesting. I ordered a creamed Hokkaido scallops with toast, but there are many others which I would explore when I'm visiting again.
I love the decor of this place more than the food. However this floss truffle fries is a winner!
Redefining Chinese food. Now this is what I called art in food. Excellent attempt and a must go!
Choose your platter with beef, chicken, and seafood options. We chose 3 different beef cuts. And it was fabulous!
Pandan, coconut, gula Melaka, muscovado sable and Yuzu. Love it! It was much smaller than expected though.
The food was also just as good as it looked with signature dishes like their truffle hamachi packed within. My favourite row had to be the chriashi don with Miyazaki Wagyu, Prawn and Ikura though 😍
This special set is only available from 1-10th March to celebrate Hina Matsuri, aka Girl's Day. So grab your girl friends and make your reservation asap!
A dish I never failed to order since my first encounter here. It only taste better.
We had the Hazelnut & Ginger Cream, the Pistachio & Pear, and Grasshopper (not new but still no.1 in my heart). We definitely weren't disappointed; they were all well-balanced and fork-and-plate-licking-good (my dad scraped the plate clean). Will be back to try the other 2 new flavours!
