Usually busy in the morning with queue, as they constantly preparing order by order at the stall.

Choose from either dry or soup, small or big size. The dry version is decent enough for the taste and ingredients. Like the soup as well.

545 Whampoa Prawn noodles have been around since the 1950s.

There are two 545 Whampoa Prawn noodles stall in SG, the other one is at tekka, and has many videos and reviews on social media.

By the time reach 12pm, Bee Hoon and Kway Teow already ran out, only left the yellow noodles. But the queue is still so long.

Had the dry version @$5, prawns were fresh and was already de-shelled. The chilli which is mixed with tomato sauce was quite good, giving this a very old school taste.

Okay not that early, which explains the long queue we faced at this popular Prawn Noodles stall at Whampoa Food Centre. Choose dry or soup version, and by the time it was our turn, both Bee Hoon and Kway Teow are sold out. Was lucky to enjoy one of the last few bowls of Bee Hoon, tossed in chilli and ketchup sauce with copious fried shallots!

Each $5 for big size.
Flavourful dry version and tasty soup version.
Stall used sliced half prawns and lean meat.
Brisk queue. Quite worth it.

Prawn noodles with long queues everytime i pass by. This dish is well-cooked with the soup being strongly flavoured with prawn aroma. For the dried version, they season ketchup with chilli, though i prefer it with more chili. The well-balanced flavoured noodles satisfy me and this place is a must try for serious prawn noodles lovers.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

From the photo you can see how intense this dish is. This is a traditional prawn noodle. Even the soup is dark not light in color. The chef mixed the noodle well so each strain of noodle is coated with the chilli and soya sauces. Only thin slices of pork and half a small prawn is served. Overall this is a stall I've been and will come back as often as I can.
