Our usual go to mee sua is out of stock so we tried this today. Nicely seasoned with the right amount of beef, vege and noodle. Will come back again.

The only down side is seats are limited. So be ready to wait.

Had sweet potato fries ($3) & XL Chicken Chop ($4.80). I find the chicken is quite fatty and lack of meat. However, the sweet potato is quite flavourful.

The soup of the Beef Noodles 红烧牛肉面 ($8.50) is surprisingly sweet and herbaceous. The beef, which consists of meat and tendon, is tender. Not bad!

Headed down to 5 Little Bears at Paya Lebar Square (#B1-09) to satisfy my craving for Taiwanese food and the Braised Pork Rice 卤肉饭 ($5) is pretty good! The pork belly is soft and fragrant, and the meat-to-fat ratio is just nice. The classic combination of braised pork belly, salted vegetables and pearl rice check all the boxes for comfort food!

Surprisingly large portion of braised tofu skin at $3. The tofu skin was chewy but unfortunately, the braised sauce didn’t feel infused into it. Overall still a nice appetizer to pair with other mains!

Tender and juicy chicken chop covered with a thin, crispy and well glazed honey batter. Pair it with a little chilli powder for that spicy kick.

At this price point, this is one of the better Taiwanese fried chicken chops around. Must order when you’re there!
