The fried chicken thigh that comes with their nasi lemak is rather big, crispy and flavourful! You may also add in other sides like ngoh hiang, fish fillet, sunny side up, etc. The Laksa came with 3 big prawns (probably i opted to remove cockles), lots of fish cake and bean sprouts. Egg was additional. The broth is thick and sweet with a little spicy. Yummy!

Not bad, not the best but will come back again if Iā€™m craving laksa and in the area

The laksa soup is not too thick but still full of coconut flavour. I would say it is okay as laksa, not particularly impressive though

Still love the place, the laksa gravy is very lemak and shiok. The prawns are fresh and crunchy, and not over cooked. Add that Chili, to give that sweet and spicy taste. My go-to for my laksa fix when I am at work.
Now the only sad part, is probably the laziness of the staff. Honestly what's a bowl of Katong Laksa, if the noodles are not cut til bite-sized?! šŸ˜’

Contrary to my title, I don't remember the prices (oops) but in entering this shop you'll be greeted by their iPad to take your orders, and I like how we can construct our laksas and nasi lemaks the way we like it in such a fun way!

Waiting time was a tad bit longer than usual given the peak lunch hour, but it was still cheap and good local fare for our tummies. It was my second time having their Laksa and I do find that the standard has dropped slightly (maybe it was just that day). The nasi lemak was also good, though nothing special. The rice looks delectable, tasted a bit dry and could do with a bit more flavour. Otak-otak quite mediocre, chicken was crispy and not too oily, and I love my long beans.... as usual šŸ˜Š.

I actually like this place, and would come back and try my luck with the laksa again, but I guess the nasi lemak is probably not my cup of tea. šŸ˜…

This may not look like much but oh man...
This is my comfort food...beats 328 katong laksa in terms of taste and price!
I love everything in my bowl.. I even added 2 portions of the freshest and yummiest cockles ($1 per portion)..yum yum..and spam loads of laksa leaves :D

The soup is just at the right thickness but I just wish it was spicier but no worries..there's chilli paste on every table.
For katong laksa lovers out there, be sure to try this :) #katonglaksa #hollandvillage #363 #burpple
