[CLOSED] Xiang Xiang Traditional Taiwanese Cuisine 香香百年台湾味 (Bedok Point)

I can’t believe this was my first time visiting Bedok Point, a really much forgotten mall at Bedok Central.

And inside this mall, there’s actually a very authentic Taiwanese cuisine restaurant; using the recipes that have been passed down for more than hundred years ago.

For first timer, I would recommend you to go for this signature 卤肉饭 $7.80 and add $2 for a drink or soup.

The braised minced pork was well seasoned and tasty, they are very soft and juicy as well.

Really yummy plate of fried pork chop over fluffy fragrant rice.
The pork was marinated using traditional herbs and spices.
Served with smoky stir fry vegetables, pickled vegetables and tasty hard boiled egg.
Satisfying experience indeed.

The best thing we tried. Fragrant and crunchy batter. My only gripe is each piece had too little meat and each plate had too few pieces.

Another Food King unfounded allegation. Ordinary at best. But credit to them for using popcorn chicken instead of shredded chicken.
