Earl Grey Pastry ($3.20) with thick cream filling, every bite of it was amazing! Hope everyone is having a good day, hashtag #thegrowingbelly to share your meals with us, stay belly growing!
The creamy filling is generous and the fragrance of the tea perks me up! I would go for tea anytime! 🙋🏻
Pink: Eternal Garden (Rose)
White: Milk Tea
$3.20 each but you can get 4/box at $12 which comes with a packet of tea from @1872clippertea
Other than their cream puffs, the matcha roll was pretty good too tho I would have preferred a fluffier cake as this was a little on the denser side. The cream was such a lovely shade of green, not cloying and slightly bittersweet (I can do with more bitterness😛). Been dropping by a lot for their refreshing iced teas and lattes too!
Bursting at every bite with rich tea aromas infused beautifully into luscious smooth custard, 1872 Clipper Tea Co.'s tea puffs comes in 5 distinctive flavours- Milk Tea, Eternal Garden (Rose), Matcha, Earl Grey and Vanilla.
Having the set of 4 ($12), it was difficult to pick a favourite as each were nicely balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and tea flavour. Lightly chewy and airy, the Matcha and Rose layered pastry puffs were real delightful with strong nuances of tea and floral notes respectively; whereas I found the Earl Grey and Milk Tea to be more subtle in taste. The coloured choux shells also had a slight flaky crust which paired really well with the chilled fillings. Perfect for tea time and a tea-riffic choux puff fix. Oozesome!
Price: $3.20 each

Finally is Thursday! One more day to the weekends people! Meanwhile, let me enjoy my sweet treat to keep me sane till the weekends!
The selection offered was both overwhelming and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. The outer texture was crispy, as you suck your teeth into it, you would feel slightly chewy and fluffy. The best part comes, when you hit the core. The flavour was strong, but not overwhelming. If comparing between the 2 flavours, I would prefer the matcha as you could really taste the matcha flavour.
Overall, this could be my snack anytime of the day! Although it maybe a bit pricy, but it's really worth every single penny. Do note that only the ion outlet sells the tea puffs if you are looking for it!
A collaboration between #1872clippertea and #dulcetnstudio.
We tried Eternal Garden (Rose), Earl Grey, Milk Tea and Matcha.
Choux au Craquelin filled with smooth, luscious tea-infused cream. Needless to say, my favourite got to be the Eternal Garden for its floral notes. #玫瑰玫瑰🐷愛你 The Matcha's good too. The Earl Grey is bursting with strong citrus notes of bergamot. As for Milk Tea, we felt it's a little too sweet.
All I can say is that you must try their desserts paired with their tea. A Singaporean company which sources their tea from Ceylon, Sri Lanka
Very delicious milk tea bun and yuzu eclair. Pairs well with their destress tea... Mmmm
Whoa! Using The 1872 Clipper Tea Co's own tea, Dulcet & Studio created these tea puffs that definitely won't disappoint. We were blown away by these outstanding puffs that had crispy choux on the outside and oozesome smooth cream inside. Amongst the five strong contending flavours (Milk Tea, Eternal Garden, Matcha, Earl Grey and Vanilla), our favourites were Eternal Garden and Earl Grey for their delighting flavours and aromatic aftertaste. 😙
Each of these babies cost $3.20 but you can get a box of four tea puffs (Eternal Garden, Earl Grey, Milk Tea and Matcha) at a slightly discounted price of $12. They are boxed up prettily with a complimentary tea bag from Clipper Tea. 😄
Was a wee sadded when I found out that Dulcet & Studio's lovely Matcha Puff wasn't a mainstay on their dessert menu. Turns out though, that the lovely pastel puffs everyone's been seeing at Clipper Tea are made by them. Earl Grey, Matcha, Milk Tea, Rose, and Vanilla — we've tried them all, and I'm finding it hard to name a fave. Great choux, luscious custard, and fantastic flavours! Matcha aside, the Milk Tea's got my ❤️ it's rich yet subtle enough. If you like stronger flavours, the other two tea puffs would prolly hit the spot.
We couldn't resist these tea puffs upon seeing how beautiful they were on the display counter. I immediately fell in love with the Matcha one for its very well balanced matcha cream — the creamy bitter yet sweet thick filling. I definitely need more of it!
1872 Clipper Co collaborated with Dulcet & Studio and launched these tea-infused puffs. There are only 5 flavours at the moment: Vanilla, Earl Grey, Milk Tea, Matcha, and Eternal Garden (Rose). Each pipped with rich cream that will burst out of the delicious choux. Available at $3.20 each, you can also get a box of 4 at $12. More expensive then their normal cream puff especially since it's smaller too.
Assorted Tea Puffs ($3.20ea)
Another product from @clippertea . These pretty things come in Matcha, Earl Grey, Eternal Garden and Milk Tea. My personal favourite is the Eternal Garden. Rose flavoured cream fill these crispy on the outside and chewy inside choux pastries! Love how these are not overly sweet!
Nb: you can also get a box of 4 for $12!
So I have decided to go back again just to try the Earl Grey variant. Again, the Dulcet & Studio choux pastry needs no introduction here, but the Earl Grey cream here is rather subtle of tea aroma here while balanced out with the malt-like sweetness of the filling here. If you could only go for one, I would pick the Eternal Garden flavour first though.
Only available at ION Orchard, The 1872 Clipper Tea Co. collaborates with Dulcet & Studio with different tea flavours in Dulcet & Studio's signature cream puffs. Those familiar with Dulcet & Studio's cream puffs will remember it for the crumbly crusted exterior and the generous amount of cream within. This was no different from what we all know about, but the cream was mildly sweet with a light hint of rose — works particularly well for those who likes floral flavours. Will be back very soon to try the Earl Grey variant!
