If you and your partner's idea of a perfect date is relaxing over beers and good food in fresh air, then this is the spot for you. This local, laidback, spacious craft microbrewery, smokehouse and restaurant in Changi Village lets you pour your own draft beers — an element of fun to the meal. Start with the pleasant Oh Yeah Singapore Pale Ale ($10) as you watch the sun set. Then, dig into the irresistible 15-hour Smoked Wagyu Beef Brisket ($18 per 100g) and get your hands dirty with the Pork Ribs Balinese Style ($26 per 200g) for a truly meaty affair. Also have the tasty Roasted Chilli Pumpkin ($10) on the side. Pro tip: Come by on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday to enjoy live music, and make a reservation on Burpple via Chope!
Avg Price: $70 per couple (with drinks)

By the same folks behind Alchemist Beer Lab at South Beach Tower comes this spacious microbrewery with an idyllic sea-view. Located behind Changi Village Food Centre, this 270-seater, self-service and self-pour brewery is the perfect place for family gatherings (just be sure to make reservations if you're in a big group!) — the large space is great for the kids to run around, the food is hearty and the drinks are excellent. There are six mainstay craft beers. Both dads' favourite Black Magic Dry Irish Stout ($12) and the crowd-pleasing Oh Yeah Singapore Pale Ale ($10) are popular options, as evident by the multiple cups on each table. For food, order the Wagyu Beef Brisket ($18 per 100g), 15-hour smoked beef that is unbelievably tender and flavourful, and the tasty Pork Ribs Balinese Style ($26 per 200g) to share. Pro tip: The craft beers run on a tap card system so you can have a go at pouring your own pint!
Avg Price: $35 per person

I think this is $25+ but it is SO WORTH IT. The portion is actually enough for 2 to share. The duck meat is tender and juicy and together with the sauce it's just pure heaven. Comes with red cabbage which idk what that is and it tastes disgusting.
Here at Little Island, you get refreshing draft beers, ciders and stouts on tap. On top of that! The beach is only a short walk away. Awesome feast of a menu - checked. And... pokemons epidemic!!! Definitely recommended 👍 Already up on the blog - at this speed nowadays you know I really like it 😙 #littleisland #burpple #openricesg
Stopped at @littleislandbrewingco for some booze and grub. If you are a carnivore like me, this is he place to be! Pork knuckle, Slow braised Wagyu beef, Pork ribs Balinese style and spring chicken sumac spice grilled with garlic butter.. Shiok! Refuelled for Poke-hunting! #burpple #changivillage #pokemongo
A relaxed little retreat hidden away at Changi Village, Little Island Brewing Co really had a laid back vibe that I enjoyed. 😎 Packed with families and groups of friends by nightfall, make sure to make a reservation if you're bringing a big group!
They've got a bunch of interesting drinks here, all on tap and self service using a pre-paid card. I'm no beer expert🍺, but I did enjoy their What Old Black Magic stout beer ($2.40/100ml). And their pork knuckles! Mmmmm, crispy and tender, it went well with the drinks! 🐷
Missing the chill vibes from Little Island Brewing Co! You got beers, wines, food that gets you in the mood for talking and drinking, a live band belting out classics and (usually) a nice sea breeze.🌬 Hard to go wrong unless your friends or date melts without air-conditioning. 😜
The pork ribs (behind) was a yummy little number, with a sticky sauce that you'll want to get all over your hands so you can lick it off later.
From top left clockwise:
Whole Spring Chicken Sumac Spiced Grilled with Garlic Butter ($22)
Tamarind Glazed Chicken Wings ($8)
Wagyu Beef Brisket 15-hour Smoked ($18)
Pork Knuckle with Sauerkraut ($25)
Grilled Portobello Mushrooms with Herb Garlic Butter ($15)
Pork Ribs Balinese Style ($26)
@littleislandbrewingco , dishes there are best shared in a small group cos you'll want to order everything on their menu! Also serving their very own craft beers using a tap card system so that you fill up your 🍺 mug till just the amount you want! Overall, food was decent and this is a nice spot to hang in between pokehunts at changi village😉!
This was pretty good - tender and well-marinated. $16 for 100g, we would probably come back again!
Popped by again, this time in the afternoon and they had an afternoon snack menu. Cheesy sausage roasted over charcoal fire, something which I saw when I was traveling in Germany. Loved the smokiness on the sausage, however, the sauerkraut needs more fermentation to achieve that acidity.
The bread was well toasted, the onions were well caramelised. Given that the pricing is so affordable, I am happy with this dish.
The brisket was not dry and the carameised onions added extra juice to the meat.
My first time having eggs benny with crispy pork belly, a duo of my favorite food.
